These Holiday Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods are a variation of my Colorful Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods, but dare I say, they are even EASIER to make. The original recipe included dying the chocolate with different food coloring. For this recipe, you’ll need chocolate and vanilla almond bark, without the need to dye them. Instead, you’ll get creative with all kinds of Christmas sprinkles for a festive look!
I used about 12 oz chocolate almond bark and 12 oz of the vanilla. Put each chocolate into their own bowl and then placed them in the microwave until they are melted and smooth. Then, pour the melted chocolate into separate tall, thin cups. This allows you to simply dip the pretzel rods straight down into the cup and pull them straight out with them covered perfectly in glossy chocolate.
Not only are these pretzel rods incredibly easy to make, but they also taste amazing and will look beautiful on your holiday dessert table. They bring everything together and add immense appeal to your decor. For those who don’t have the time to bake and decorate Christmas cookies, these are a great, time-saving alternative! Give these Holiday Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods a try this season and let me know what you think! Enjoy!
