Halloween season is finally upon us. Which means it’s time for all things sweet! It can be hard to resist all the candies, chocolates, and baked goods that come with the season. But with this Slow Cooker Halloween Fudge, you can indulge without overdoing it! A single piece of this fudge is so rich and decadent that you’ll feel perfectly satisfied eating just one. But if you want to have a couple extra pieces, feel free because this fudge is made with healthier ingredients that gives it a lower calorie count than traditional fudge. Each piece yields ONLY 109 calories!
HEALTHY INGREDIENTS
The original recipe for this fudge was inspired by Skinny Ms Slow Cooker Fudge. I adapted the recipe with a few alterations and added the Halloween twist. The ingredients used are simple and have many added health benefits. It’s no lie when people say chocolate can be good for you. Especially when it’s in an incredibly low-calorie dessert like this fudge. 😉
USING A SLOW COOKER
There is something about making fudge in the slow cooker that gives it an incredibly rich, thick texture and flavor. I don’t think I’ll make fudge any other way after trying this method! Slowly melting the ingredients over 2 hours gives the sweetness of the honey and coconut milk time to soak into the delicious dark chocolate. You’re left with a smooth, glossy fudge with a deep chocolate flavor.
SLOW-COOKER HALLOWEEN FUDGE
As I’m sure you’ve deduced by now, one of the main things you’ll need for this recipe is a slow cooker. The one I use at home is a 3-quart Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker (affiliate link). It’s smaller than a standard size slow cooker but big enough to cook a meal that feeds at least 4 people (which is the size of my family). Since this fudge recipe doesn’t require a lot of surface area, my small slow cooker was the perfect size. I included a link below for the slow cooker I use for anyone who needs it!
DECORATING THE FUDGE
The great thing about this fudge is that it’s so fun to decorate and can be customized for any holiday! I chose a Halloween theme because we’re currently in October. But honestly, I think I’m going to make this fudge for EVERY upcoming holiday just to have fun decorating it with different sprinkles and toppings. 😉 For those who want to keep the Halloween theme, now is the perfect time to find all kinds of different Halloween sprinkles and candies in the stores. As you can see from the photos, I used candy corn and pumpkin head candies (the pumpkin heads were actually lollipops with the sticks removed).
I hope you all have a lot of fun making this low-calorie Slow Cooker Halloween Fudge! Read on for the full recipe and have a happy, healthy Halloween!

Notes
- FRIDGE STORAGE: Lasts about 2 weeks. Fudge still keeps its shape and stays firm without being too hard. You should be able to bite into it a lot easier. Store in airtight container.
- FREEZER STORAGE: Lasts 3 months. Yields harder fudge. May need to thaw a bit at room temperature before you can bite into it. Store in freezer bags or airtight container.
