The best thing about these smokies is that they only require 3 very simple ingredients. So, you won’t break the bank if you want to make a ton of them to feed a crowd. This recipe yields about 40 bacon wrapped smokies. My husband and I finished them all in a heartbeat. So, if you’re planning a gathering of more than 2-3 people, feel free to pick up a few extra packs of bacon and cocktail sausages to keep your guests coming back for more.

These Bacon Wrapped Smokies make the perfect game-day finger food. Only 3 very simple ingredients needed and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 14 oz package cocktail sausages

  • 16 oz package bacon

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cover a large baking pan with parchment paper
  • Cut each bacon strip in thirds using kitchen scissors
  • Wrap each sausage with a piece of the cut bacon
  • Place the brown sugar in a small bowl
  • Roll the bacon wrapped sausages in the bowl of brown sugar making sure they’re covered in a thin coat all around
  • Place the prepared smokies on the baking pan side by side, but not touching
  • Bake for about 35 minutes, flipping halfway through cook time to prevent burning
  • Remove from oven, serve and enjoy!
