Bacon Pesto Pasta Recipe

It’s best to start off by chopping up the bacon into small pieces and frying it in a large skillet. The bacon will cook a lot quicker and more evenly this way. Once the bacon is cooked to crispy perfection, you MUST drain out all the extra grease otherwise the final product will be a bit too soggy. But I highly suggest you save that precious bacon grease in the fridge for future use. It’ll work as a great flavor alternative for recipes that call for butter or oil.
