This amazing Bacon Pesto Pasta dish takes just 5 ingredients, all of which you may already have in your kitchen. It’s a quick and easy dinner that will keep your family full and satisfied. Bacon and pesto turned out to be a spectacular flavor combination that I would highly recommend!
It’s best to start off by chopping up the bacon into small pieces and frying it in a large skillet. The bacon will cook a lot quicker and more evenly this way. Once the bacon is cooked to crispy perfection, you MUST drain out all the extra grease otherwise the final product will be a bit too soggy. But I highly suggest you save that precious bacon grease in the fridge for future use. It’ll work as a great flavor alternative for recipes that call for butter or oil.
I’m really not sure how this recipe came about. All I know is that I love pesto and I love bacon. Somehow my brain decided to combine them into this mouth-watering Bacon Pesto Pasta. It’s become a regular dish in our household over the last few months due to its deliciousness and simplicity! Read on for the full recipe to give it a try yourself!
