Mint Chocolate Chip Shake Recipe

Mint Chocolate Chip Shake

If you’re looking for a super simple dessert that you can literally whip up in MINUTES, then this is the recipe for you! This Mint Chocolate Chip Shake pulls out all the stops with creamy vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips and a blast of minty flavor. Its festive green color makes it perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or even Christmas.

ONLY 5 SIMPLE INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  • 3 cups vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract (or mint extract)
  • 2-3 drops green gel food coloring
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

You can also add a little whipped cream, mini chocolate chips or green sprinkles for an extra decorative look!

I love that you can just throw all your ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Since the ingredients you’re using are fairly easy to blend, you don’t need to use anything too fancy. Any food processor you have at home should work.

But if you’d like to invest in a high-quality blender that can pulverize ANYTHING, I’d highly suggest this Ninja Professional Blender (affiliate link). It’s what I use at home all the time to make shakes, frozen smoothies, mix batters, mince vegetables, etc.
