Recently I’ve realized how wide my pasta collection has grown so I wanted to share with you some of my favorite and most unique pasta recipes on my blog. And the best part about these pasta recipes is that they’re all incredibly easy to make. So, read on for a list of the 10 Most Unique & Easy Pasta Recipes That’ll Keep Things Interesting!
1. BACON PESTO PASTA
This amazing pasta dish takes just 5 ingredients, all of which you may already have in your kitchen. It’s a quick and easy dinner that will keep your family full and satisfied. Bacon and pesto turned out to be a spectacular flavor combination that I would highly recommend!
2. MEXICAN STREET CORN (ELOTE) PASTA SALAD
Nothing can beat an authentic Elote from the streets of LA, but this recipe sure does come close! This dish came into fruition during one of my “feeling-creative” moments. I opened my pantry to see an overabundance of canned corn. So naturally, something clicked in my brain to put one of my two favorite dishes together into an incredibly unique and DELICIOUS Mexican Street Corn Pasta Salad!
3. JALAPENO POPPER MAC & CHEESE
You all know I need everything spicy!! Jalapeno Poppers are one of my favorite appetizers to make. Putting them into mac & cheese form seemed like a no brainer. This casserole style mac & cheese is rich and filling enough to have plenty of leftovers. And I can’t even begin to describe how tasty it is. I’ve received numerous compliments on this recipe with many people claiming it’s the best mac & cheese they’ve ever had. This dish is always a party pleaser! This recipe should be on the top of your list if you’re looking for ways on how to make pasta interesting.
4. BRUSSELS SPROUTS NOODLES
Did you know that butter and soy sauce are a match made in heaven? I didn’t know either until I tried them in this amazing Brussels Sprouts Noodles recipe. Your taste buds will thank you. Brussels sprouts are one of my favorite veggies and when they’re paired with the other love of my life (noodles!) I’m in an absolute state of euphoria!
5. CREAMY PICKLE PASTA SALAD
This recipe holds a special place in the heart because pickles have always been one of the loves of my life. It’s one of the most unique pasta salad recipes on my site, filled to the brim with pickles, pickles and more pickles. I’m talking a whole jar of pickles, pickle juice in the sauce, and dill weed to round out the final pickle-y flavor. This pasta salad is a pickle-lovers dream come true.
6. CHEESY SPINACH & CHICKEN LINGUINE
I LOVE the flavors bursting out of this dish. What makes it even better is you can cook everything in one pot saving so much time and adding to the amazing taste. This is definitely one of my favorite pasta recipes because of its zesty, cheesy flavor and the fact that it only requires one pot and 25 minutes of your time to get this meal on the table.
7. CREAMY BACON & KIELBASA PASTA SKILLET
This pasta is covered in a bacon-flavored cream sauce with a great consistency and amazing flavor. What’s interesting about this recipe is that it’s a different take on traditional Haluski noodles. Instead of a buttery sauce mixed with fried cabbage, this dish incorporates a creamy sauce with fried onions. This is one of those dishes you can make over and over because it’s so easy, cheap and also only requires one pot.
8. MUSHROOM MAC & CHEESE
There are so many ways you can make mac & cheese it’s ridiculous! I’ve only begun to scratch the surface but so far this recipe is at the top of my list when it comes to mac and cheese. The addition of mushrooms in the cheese sauce makes this recipe stand out from the rest and gives you your serving of vegetables in the midst of all the carbs.
9. TOASTED SESAME NOODLES
This Sesame Noodles Recipe is one of the easiest recipes you will ever make with a cook time of less than 15 minutes! When it comes to noodles or pasta, I love sauces that have a base of butter or oil. And that’s exactly what the sauce for this recipe entails. I used toasted sesame oil and a generous amount of butter. But I also added soy sauce for a punch of salty flavor.
10. CREAMY CHICKEN & BACON PASTA
We can’t round off this list without talking about the newest addition to my pastas collection: this delicious Creamy Chicken & Bacon Pasta. This is one meal I can stand behind all the way! It’s full of chicken, bacon, pasta and an incredibly creamy, savory sauce thanks to the oil and herbs in the sun-dried tomatoes. This is another pasta meal that I guarantee the whole family will love.
