This Easy Puppy Chow recipe requires only FOUR simple ingredients! Peanut butter, chocolate chips, Chex cereal and powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 14 oz box Chex cereal (or any other brand of square corn cereal)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  • Add the peanut butter and chocolate chips to a small pot
  • Heat on low-medium, stirring continuously for about 3 minutes or until completely melted and smooth
  • In a large bowl, add the Chex cereal. Pour the melted peanut butter chocolate mixture all over the Chex cereal
  • Stir with a spoon until the cereal is completely covered in chocolate (see above pictures for reference)
  • To coat with powdered sugar, you can do one of two things: 1) Either transfer the chocolate covered cereal to a large plastic bag, add the powdered sugar, close the bag tight and shake until all the cereal is coated well with powdered sugar. 2) OR, you can use a large bowl with a fitted lid (which is what I did). Add the powdered sugar to the bowl with the cereal, cover with the lid and shake the bowl all around until cereal is completely coated
  • Store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag at room temperature
